DESCRIPTION

PYRIGOLD (Pyriproxyfen 10% EC) acts by disrupting the normal development and growth of insects. MODE OF ACTION

Pyriproxyfen 10% EC inhibits moulting and interferes with the production and regulation of insect hormones, particularly ecdysone and juvenile hormones. This disrupts the normal life cycle of insects, preventing proper development, reproduction, and population growth. Pyriproxyfen primarily targets the eggs, larvae, and pupae of insects, offering long-lasting control and selective action against a wide range of pests while minimizing impact on non-target organisms.
